REMEMBRANCE ROAD

Genre: Drama  |  Format: Feature Film  |  Status: First act complete, story fully outlined
When a surgeon travels to Vietnam to recover her MIA father's remains thirty years after his plane was shot down, she discovers that some wounds cannot be healed—only honored.

In 1967, ten-year-old Laura Franklin watched Marine Corps officers arrive at her door with news that would shape the rest of her life: her father's fighter jet had been shot down over Vietnam and he was unaccounted for. Thirty years later, Dr. Laura Franklin has built a career saving children's hearts, but she's never been able to heal the hole in hers left by her father's loss.

When an opportunity arises to search for his crash site, Laura travels deep into the Vietnamese jungle. Using her medical skills to save a village child, she earns the trust of locals who help her locate a nearby crash site. After days of painstaking recovery, Laura collects remains to finally bring her father home.

But just as closure seems within reach, a piece of fuselage reveals a devastating truth: the stenciled letters read "USAF." Her father was a Marine. These aren't his remains.

Laura boards the plane home carrying bones that belong to another family, her own journey unsuccessful—yet she's given someone else the closure she'll never have.

Author's Note: This story is inspired by wearing a POW/MIA bracelet for over 40 years for a Marine aviator shot down near the DMZ in August 1967, who has not yet returned home. I wear it to this day. For decades I've wondered what it must be like for his children—to have never been able to bury their father, to never know where he rests.

TERMINAL MISSION

Genre: Action Thriller  |  Format: Feature Film  |  Status: Two acts complete, developing third act
When a former Delta Force and retired CIA operator's best friend dies in a terrorist attack, he launches an unauthorized hunt across three continents that leads from Pakistani arms dealers to a ruthless Russian oligarch—only to discover he's walked into a trap involving a missing nuclear weapon.

Mike "Roper" Carter thought his days of covert operations were behind him. Retired from the CIA after a mission gone wrong, he's settled into a quiet life in Northern California. But when his closest friend and former teammate Boone dies in a terrorist attack on a commercial airliner, Mike is pulled back into a world he tried to leave behind.

Following the trail from a Pakistani import/export company to the high-stakes poker tables of Las Vegas, Mike encounters Victor Pikunov—a former Soviet Spetsnaz colonel turned arms dealer with connections that reach into the highest levels of Russian intelligence. What begins as a quest for revenge becomes a race against time when Mike discovers the attack on the airliner was only the beginning.

Joined by journalist and former flame Alejandra Webster, Mike navigates the dangerous streets of Moscow, pursued by enemies who seem to anticipate his every move. As the scope of Victor's plan becomes clear, Mike must choose between personal vengeance and preventing a catastrophic attack that could kill thousands.

Technical Note: Developed with input from Special Forces veterans to ensure authentic tactical details and operational accuracy.
